Pow wow wow

Well, it doesn’t get much better than it was today! I hit Robin’s Run early and it was a series of pillow drops. This snowstorm was absolutely perfect. Heavy when it started and got lighter as it went on. It is still snowing with another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies with a high of 11 degrees at the base and 6 degrees at the higher elevations. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 16 to 48 inches. 31 trails will be groomed for tomorrow including, Chilcoot, Curley’s Cutback, and Thomke’s for a grand total of 132 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

Uphill travel is closed on Morse Mountain tonight, tomorrow night, and Sunday night.

I want to give a shout-out to our Lift Maintenance and Lift Crews for all their hard work to get the lifts turning this morning.
