We received 22 inches of new snow in the past 5 days and 134 this season so far. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 74 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Last night we made snow on Bootlegger, Thomke’s Express, and the Zone. 28 trails have been groomed for today, including Ruthie’s, Garden Path, and Rumrunner. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 16 to 48 inches. Birch Run and Knight’s Revenge Terrain Parks are both open. Currently, it is cloudy and 14 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph, gusts of 30 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies and a little windy with a high of 33 degrees.
