Great spring conditions

The temperatures started in the 40’s this morning and were in the 50s by this afternoon. The big soft bumps on Upper FIS were a ton of fun. I also had a blast on Chilcoot, Bootlegger from the top, Lower Doc Dempsey’s Glades, Link, Lower Madonna Liftline, and Lower Rumrunner. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 7 lifts operating. We will run one or both Madonna Lifts depending on weather and conditions tomorrow. We have 48 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 27 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Chilcoot, Treasure Run, Garden Path, and Log Jam for a grand total of 110 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are spring conditions and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 48 inches. Currently, it is partly sunny and 45 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of rain before 1 pm with a high of 43 degrees at the base and 40 degrees at higher elevations. Wear something waterproof and enjoy the spring conditions!
