New snow overnight

We received 1 to 2 inches of new snow last night and 203 inches this season so far. Today we have 5 lifts operating; Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Village, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Madonna mountain is closed today for grooming operations and we plan to have it open again tomorrow. Today we have 26 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. We will have more trails open tomorrow. 18 trails have been groomed for today, including Rumrunner, Log Jam, Curley’s Cutback, and Treasure Run for a grand total of 75 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 6 to 40 inches. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 25 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies and a chance of snow showers with an inch of accumulation possible, a high of 36 degrees at the base and 29 degrees at higher elevations. The conditions will be found on snowmaking trails today.
