Great day to be out on the hill

It was so beautiful today that I skied all 3 mountains seeking out my favorite scenic spots. The visibility was just amazing! I was at the top of Madonna multiple times today taking in all the wonderful views in every direction. Drifter was open today so I had to ski it for fantastic views of Sterling, Sterling Pond, and Mount Mansfield. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including Madonna I. We have 51 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 28 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Chilcoot, Black Snake, and Howie’s Wanderer for a grand total of 110 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 8 to 42 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies early, increasing clouds, the chance of a shower late with a high of 56 degrees at the base and 50 degrees at higher elevations.
