Upper Madonna Liftline

We received 5 inches of new snow overnight, 13 inches in the past 4 days, and 22 inches in the past week! Madonna and Sterling are 100 percent open. We have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We have 7 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We now have 73 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 24 trails have been groomed for today, including Upper Chilcoot, Garden Path, and Black Snake for a grand total of 105 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 8 to 30 inches. Upper FIS is groomed from Catwalk down to the Lower Doc Dempsey’s cutoff. Currently, it is still snowing and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for snow and another 3 to 7 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 33 degrees and breezy. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day. Tonight’s forecast is also snow with another 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible. It’s shaping up to be an amazing weekend. Don’t forget to plan ahead and buy your tickets online at smuggs.com/reload.
