Powder Day

We received 6 inches of new snow overnight, and we are just getting started. Today’s forecast is snow showers with 10 to 14 inches of accumulation possible, with a high of 31 degrees at the base and 28 degrees at higher elevations. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day. Tonight’s forecast is also snow with another 2 to 4 inches. Currently, it is snowing and 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling. We plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 23 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. More photos to come once the lifts are turning.

  1. Great work on opening so many trails.
We will be skiing the weekend Dec 15-17,
Any chance trails on Madonna or a trail to link the Village Condos to Sterling Lift will be open?
    Thanks.

    • We are currently in the midst of a big snowstorm. At 11 this morning we had 8″ of new snow and it’s still coming down! Keep you eye here on the blog or check the Snow Report to see when Midway and/or Meadowlark open up.
