Tomorrow, we plan to have Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, Village Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Sterling Lift all operating. We now have 18 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 13 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley and Garden Path, for a total of 53 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and variable, with average base depths of 8 to 36 inches. Tomorrow’s mild temperatures will produce nice, soft conditions. Currently, it is cloudy and 33 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high of 43 degrees at the base and 41 degrees at higher elevations.
Hey hey, couple of quick questions: any idea if Madonna will be opening up anytime soon? And in your opinion, which mountain would be best for a rider looking to progress to Blue trails, Madonna or Sterling? Hope you had a wonderful holiday, thanks for all the hard work Smuggs staff!!!
If you are looking to progress to more blue terrain then I would recommend Sterling Mountain. We have great Snow Sport lessons available to help you get there.
