Uphill update

Uphill travel will be closed on all 3 mountains Wednesday night through Saturday morning due to a combination of weather factors that will cause us to change our normal grooming schedules. We expect the evenings on Morse Mountain to resume Saturday night and mornings on Sterling Mountain to resume Sunday. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Uphill travel is when people climb the mountain before or after regular lift operations. This update is for those people who climb the mountain and is not about scheduled lift operations.

  1. This post “uphill travel will be closed…” implies that all 3 hills will be closed for skiing Wed. 24th to Sat. 27th. I called to front desk to understand if this is true as we are expected to arrive on Wed. and was told that this isn’t true and that all 3 hills are planned to be open. Please be clear what is expected to happen as it will be a complete waste of time to show up and not have the hills open.

    • Uphill travel is when people climb the mountain and the lifts are not open. Early and late in the day. We plan to operate all scheduled lifts Wednesday through Saturday.

  2. What does this mean “Uphill travel will be closed…”? Does that mean no gooming? Will all the hills, and chairlifts, be open?
    Thanks for clarification.
