Top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains

Last night we made snow on Birch Run, Lower Madonna Liftline, and the Zone. Our grooming staff pushed out the snowmaking whales on Lower Madonna Liftline, and it reopened this morning. Birch Run Terrain Park will be under construction for the next few days and will be closed. Our snowmakers are moving to Morse Mountain tonight. They will focus on Snow Snake and skier’s right on Lower Morse Liftline. Lower Morse Liftline will be closed tomorrow, and Magic Learning Trail/Howie’s Wanderer will be the way down the lower half of Morse Mountain. The Village Lift will be operating tomorrow. Tomorrow, we plan to have 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 64 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 28 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Dixie’s Knoll, Upper FIS, and Smugglers’ Alley, for a total of 118 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 23 degrees at the base and 19 degrees at higher elevations.
