Costume Required
Each competitor will have one run on our race course
Competitors will be judged on Best Costume(Adult & Youth), Best Course Style, and Best Crash
10:00 am – 11:45 am – Race registration at the Smuggs tent for the first 100 participants
12:00 noon – 2:00 pm – Race on the Practice Slope
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – More Party for the People & Winner Announcements
Artistic Showdown: Unleash Your Creativity in the Creative Canvas Clash!
Theme: Interpret #smuggslove through your artistry.
Get ready for an electrifying artsy competition that will ignite your imagination! Each registered team will be equipped with a 16×20 blank canvas, a set of vibrant paint pens, and handy wipes to ensure your masterpiece shines.
Here’s the lowdown:
- Teams or individuals are welcome to register for the competition, but hurry, as registration is limited to just 15 teams/individuals. Canvases will be numbered on the back to correspond with the team registration number. Don’t forget to write your team contact name, number or email address, along with the title of your artwork on the back of the canvas.
- Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity on the easels provided at the front of the venue.
- Let’s keep it classy, folks – after all, we’re America’s Family Resort. Any artwork deemed offensive will unfortunately be disqualified. So, steer clear of anything that might raise eyebrows.
- Remember to turn in your canvases to the registration table no later than 4:00 pm. We’ll snap pictures of each masterpiece and feature them in a bracket format on Facebook for the public to vote for their favorite. The winning artwork will proudly be displayed in the Madonna/Sterling Base Lodge throughout winter 2024/25.
- Once the winner is crowned, participants can retrieve their canvases from the Ski & Ride Desk.
