More lifts and trails open tomorrow

Skiing and riding on all 3 mountains this weekend!

We plan to have 4 lifts operating, Sterling, Madonna II, Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet, and Mogul Mouse Magic open to mid-station. We plan to have 28 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. 11 out of the 28 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 40 acres of freshly groomed terrain. We received 2 to 3 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 13 inches in the past week, and 37 inches this season so far. Tonight we plan to make snow on Garden Path, Lower Morse Liftline, and Meadowlark. I’m sure some of you are wondering about the Madonna I Lift. Madonna is a pretty gnarly mountain and it takes a good bit of snow to open. We have quite a bit of snow up there, but just not enough yet. There are still some open water bars that need to get covered up. Our plan is to make snow on Upper Chilcoot next week when mother nature allows. If you hike or skin up Madonna Mountain use caution and be aware of obstacles.

This Saturday, December 7th is the 25th Annual Brewfest in the Meeting House. Check here for more information.
