Today: Light snow, mainly before 5 pm, then a chance of snow showers after 5 pm. High near 26 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half-inch possible.

Tonight: Light snow with a chance of snow showers before 11 pm, then light snow likely between 11 pm and 2 am, then a chance of snow showers after 2 am. Low around 11 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday: Light snow likely. Cloudy, with the temperature falling to around 6 degrees by 5 pm. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow showers likely, mainly before 1 am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -6 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

We received an inch of new snow last night and 15 inches in the past week. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 63 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with base depths of 14 to 46 inches. 22 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 101 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is snowing and 17 degrees at the summit of Sterling.
