Today started off a little cool, but the sun came out and worked its magic. We had top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating and all 78 trails open today. Freefall was open from the top, Robin’s Run was open and even the Headwall was open! The conditions are wonderful. This afternoon I got to take a few runs with my daughter Hannah. She skis and snowboards, but today she was snowboarding. She has been snowboarding a good bit lately and she has really improved. She wanted to ride in deep snow today, so we went powder stash hunting. We found many untracked turns! Hannah told me that “Maybe there is such a thing as too much snow!”

We are 100 percent open! Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have all 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. 34 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Playground, Hibernator, and Jolly Rodger for a grand total of 135 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Last night we made snow in the Zone Terrain Park. Currently it is sunny and 12 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a high of 36 degrees.
