Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. I’ve never been a slalom racer but I felt like I had a scintilla of an inkling of what that might be like when I cruised down the entirety of a groomed Upper FIS (aka Fizz) today. That’s probably as close as I’ll get to being a skiing/action hero. But Bode Miller, Lindsey Vonn, Dwayne Johnson, Michell Rodriguez, and Vin Diesel don’t have to worry about me being as fast or furious.
Then I cranked some compression on Upper Drifter and Shuttle. Those trails are like ridin’ a rockin’ roller coaster when they’re groomed. To round out my day on the slopes… and without stopping… I did the 3 mile run from the top of Madonna back to the Village. Contents include: Upper Chilcoot > Mulcahy’s Link > Waterfall > Ruthie’s > Midway > Curley’s Cutback > Meadowlark.
It was a day of fast and furious New England loud powder.
