Schweppe’d away by Smugglers!
Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. Smuggs is more than a great mountain to ski and ride, it’s a great to place to connect and reconnect with friends. Long-time Smuggler Michael Schweppe from New York (and Across the Universe), along with his family have been coming to the Resort for 27 years, and it was the first time we’ve been able to take some runs together. Little did we know our mutual friend Carl from Virginia, another long-time Smuggler, was yelling to us from the M2 Lift. Speaking of Virginia, I briefly spied yet another friend and long-time Smuggler – Mark, also from Virginia. Then, whilst going to the Base Lodge for the Snow Report meeting, I chanced upon Mogul Mouse Acting Troupe alum Megan Jurnak – she gave me the happy news of her engagement!!!
OK, you’d probably like a little bit o’ Snow Report. We’ve received 1 inch of snow in the last 24 hours. We’re making snow on Curley’s Cutback, Sam’s Run, and Snow Snake. We hope to have Curley’s and Sam’s open on Thursday. We currently have 17 trails open – with terrain for all abilities. Ski ya later.

I went skiing this morning and had fun making some GS turns on the fresh corduroy. I went snowboarding this afternoon.
