The Village Lift, Madonna II Lift, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift will have a delayed opening until 10:00 am today due to cold temperatures. Currently it is -11 degrees at the summit of Sterling with clear skies and winds of 0 to 10 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 2 degrees. Bundle up and enjoy the wonderful conditions. We plan to have 5 lifts operating today Sterling, Village, Madonna II, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 54 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 24 trails have been groomed for today, including Rumrunner, Howie’s Wanderer, and McPherson’s for a grand total of 105 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The lower half of Black Snake and Snake Bite will be closed today for a ski race. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains.
