Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Sterling Lift, Madonna II Lift, Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Madonna II Lift will have a delayed opening tomorrow morning until 10:00 am due to the cold temperatures. The Village Lift and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift may also have a delayed opening due to the early morning cold temperatures. Please check the snow report first thing tomorrow morning for more information on lift operation times. Dress for success! Layers, hand warmers, and no exposed skin for tomorrow. Currently, it is -8 degrees at the summit of Sterling with clear skies. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 1 degree. Tomorrow we plan to have 54 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 25 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Curley’s Cutback, McPherson’s, and Treasure Run for a grand total of 105 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. The Madonna I Lift will be closed tomorrow due to snowmaking on Upper Chilcoot. We plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains this weekend.
