We’re enjoying the weekend!

I want to give a shout-out to our award-winning grooming staff! They did a great job on Upper FIS last night. They groomed the skier’s right side from Catwalk down to Goat Path and then full width down to Time Square. The night before last they worked their magic on natural snow trails Drifter and Shuttle. I skied Upper FIS today and Drifter to Shuttle yesterday. Thank you for your extra efforts to give our skiers and riders the best conditions possible! Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 75 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 35 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Goat Path, Upper FIS skier’s right, Smugglers’ Alley, Curley’s Cutback, and Howie’s Wanderer for a grand total of 140 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions tomorrow will be machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 18 to 52 inches. Surface conditions will be changing throughout the day tomorrow with the mild temperatures. Currently, it is partly sunny and 26 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for rain and wind, with a high of 51 degrees at the base and 46 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow might be a good day to test your gore-tex.
