“The facilities were in top condition. I especially loved painting while sitting on my deck in the morning. So many beautiful flowers and views to paint. The pools had plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Trails were well matched so we could explore the areas around Smuggs. Jeffersonville had excellent food options and we loved visiting the art galleries”

“We love Smuggs. Smuggs is like a cruise ship on shore, you can be as busy or relaxed as you want to be. Our family played tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, did the guided hikes, and the stretch and gos. We also did the dive-in movie, Marko’s family magic show and his adult show, trivia night, country fair, pedal cart race, corn hole tournament and the Big Smuggle. Last but not least we used the Fun Zone 2.0. We love everything that is available for us to do through out the week. We rarely left the resort as there is so much to do. I’m a sucker for a sing-a-long, the music on the green is awesome. And I can’t leave out karaoke at bootleggers, always a good time. Your staff is fantastic. From Will and Katie at the Tennis Center, to Martha and Gabe on the guided hikes. Seth does a great job with the family programming. Sam is an asset to Smuggs, too. Marko’s shows were one of the highlights of our vacation, my kids are still talking about his show, the magic and humor, so many belly laughs (it makes my heart full seeing my kids laugh that hard). We also used the fire pit at the welcome center to make ourselves s’mores – yum. I spent a lot of time at courtside pool, and the guards there were professional and polite. Also I want to shout out to the shuttle drivers, especially Julian and Debbie. They made our stay more enjoyable just by remembering our names every day. It’s the little things that make you feel special. The Country Fair was amazing so many people on the green, so many kids and adults laughing and playing. Love Thursdays, when the weather cooperates. Also one of my sons was super excited about the glow in the dark miniature golf, we arrived when it was starting that there was a huge line due to the limited number of golf balls, maybe have the guests use their notch card to check out the golf balls if that’s an issue. It is the people who make Smuggs great. Thank you for curating talented folks who appear to genuinely enjoy their work! We had the best vacation we can’t wait to come back.”

“We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at Aspen. The rooms were huge and very well furnished. The kitchen was great with all the appliances and dishes you would need. Bathrooms, towels and amenities were wonderful. A great place to relax and gather with our friends in the large living room and dining area combined. The walk up and down the hill was energizing. Not much was open as the facility was under maintenance. Great views from the deck of the mountains. Definitely would love to return in the Fall to see the colors.”

My meal at Hearth and Candle was fantastic!! I wish I wouldn’t have waited until the last night to go! Next time i will go more than once!”

“Our families had a great time! I traveled with my husband and 5 year old as well as my brother, his wife, and two children (3 & 5). The condo we stayed in was huge! We loved having all the space for the kids. It was nice to have access to the different pools and kid zone with the daycation passes included in the package. The resort is beautiful! We can’t wait to come back in the winter or summer and check out the other amenities and do some skiing. The check-in staff were so nice! I told them we were looking for options to watch football on Sunday during our stay and they quickly researched some good restaurants (kid friendly) for me. The woman that checked me in, I forget her name, was very thorough and didn’t leave any detail out. Great experience!”

“Given this was our first trip to Smugg’s, it exceeded our expectations in almost every area! Our unit in Mountain Laurels was so cozy and clean, with everything in working order. We cooked dinner in our lodge twice, and had no trouble with the appliances, or locating everything. The bed was as comfortable as ever, and the rooms were spotless. The speakers with the blue ray device were a great way to stream our own music from our phones. We can’t wait to visit Smugg’s again!”

“I stayed from April 26-May 2 and the front desk staff were exceptional. Most activities and facilities were closed which I knew would be the case. I came to relax, do some hiking, and make a short visit to family in Burlington. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the front desk staff as well as the folks with The Perk and the Country Store were absolutely first rate. Early on in my stay I had a surprise business requirement pop up and I had to complete some legal forms that required photocopying and notarizing. Again, the staff come to my rescue and helped me get it all done and off to an attorney for review in short order. Absolutely ready to assist in any way they could, and always with smiles and a great sense of humor. Thank you all so very much for making my stay so enjoyable!
