The Barn at Smugglers' Notch
A new breed of Vermont Wedding Venue. Modern, elegant & sophisticated, yet designed and built with a vernacular that matches the natural beauty of its surroundings. With almost 360 degree mountain views, the location is one of the most stunning panoramic vistas in Vermont and New England. The Barn has plenty of windows to take full advantage of the unobstructed views of Vermont's tallest mountain, Mount Mansfield, Smugglers' Notch, and the peaks of the Green Mountains. The Barn is set on the 77 acre historic Dodge Farm on the Mountain Road, minutes from Smugglers' Notch and Stowe Mountain Resorts. The Barn at Smugglers' Notch is a premier, upscale wedding and event facility, operating year round. "The Barn", as we like to call it, was completed in 2016. The key ingredients that went into the building of this very special event space were location, design, comfort, and service.

Ben & Jerry's Factory
Located on a rolling pasture overlooking the Worcester Range in the Green Mountains of Vermont is the Ben and Jerry’s Waterbury Factory. Here, you can learn all about the ice cream production process. Then, you’re off to the mezzanine for a bird’s eye view of how “Vermont’s Finest” is actually made. Finally — you’ll visit the FlavoRoom for samples of the day. 802-882-1240

The Bierhall at Trapp Family Lodge
Enjoy flavorful, crisp lagers at von Trapp Brewing located at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. A humble brewery with the capacity of 2,000 barrels per year attracted attention under the name Trapp Lager, and the brewery received requests from all over the United States. The von Trapp family, who had always been reticent to commercialize their family heritage, realized that they had a product deserving of the family name. The new facility, completed in 2015 under the name von Trapp Brewing, allowed the family to expand beyond their home territory and spread the gospel of craft lagers.

One of the top producers of Fresh Apple Cider in all of New England and are one of the very few that press year-round. Once you've seen cider made, wander through the large Retail store and check out many of the Vermont specialty foods. Bring your appetite, since you can sample plenty of jellies, mustards, applesauce, fudge, and other goodies. In the summer, watch real bees make honey in the "honey corner" (don't worry, they're behind glass). You'll also be lured by an overwhelming aroma to The Donut Counter, where you can sink your teeth into the legendary cider donuts. These donuts were featured in Gourmet Magazine, as one of the top four donuts in the country. Ten Bends Beer
Ten Bends Beer is a culmination of early workshop experimentation, creative discernment, business prowess, and raw perseverance that has resulted in some of the highest quality and most sought after small-batch ales in the Northeast. Our two co-owners, Mike Scarlata and Jason Powell, began brewing together in 2012 in a roughly outfitted shed in the woods just three miles from the current Ten Bends location in Hyde Park, VT. While facing the adversities of brewing craft beer in a harsh climate with home-made equipment, Ten Bends Beer was born.
