AutumnFest Activities at Smugglers' Notch

The fun goes on and on for everyone!

Choose from a variety of Resort activities, including tennis courts, bike rentals, pools and hot tubs, our year-round Zip Line Canopy Tour, guided and self-guided nature walks, playgrounds, mini-golf, disc golf, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a host of activities and attractions in the Smugglers' Notch area.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Sunday, 9:00 am - 10:15 am
Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. This is an intermediate level class that can be modified for beginners and advanced practitioners. Ages 7 & older. $15 per person. Advance registration required as space is limited. Meet at Nordland Library.

Fall Foliage E-Bike Tour
Monday & Wednesday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Leaf peep in a whole new way! Lamoille Valley Bike Tours invites you to step out of your car and onto an electric bike to view the spectacular beauty of Vermont’s foliage up close and personal with a self guided E-bike adventure on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. This 17 mile car-free trail sports a working farm landscape, sweeping fields of flowers, beautiful and wild river plain, and breathtaking mountainous scenery. Add to that the brilliant colors of Autumn’s foliage and you’re in for an unforgettable experience! Our on-site Ride Guide is full of information about the LVRT and the many shops and restaurants accessible from the trail and you have the freedom to decide where you want to go and what you want to see. Try picnicking by the river or on a scenic area of the trail. Plan your day around some shopping and dining at any of the authentic Vermont shops, cafes and restaurants located in each town, or in some cases, right on the trail. You can also use the time to bike as much of the trail as you can fit into your tour time! $60 per person. Meet at Lamoille Valley Bike Tour’s rail trail location of 19 Creamery Street, Johnson VT.

Medicinal CBD Basics

CBD has exploded in popularity! Are you interested in learning about this plant, it’s medicinal properties and how it’s used? Join Kelley Robie of Horsetail Herbs to learn the basics of CBD. You will discover where CBD comes from, learn about the various CBD strains, how it works in the body and how to use it. We will cover methods of extraction and how to use it for topical, edible and medicinal preparations. If you’re new to CBD and its many properties, or want to learn how to make home CBD medicine, this class is for you! We will be making a CBD salve & CBD Gummies to take home and use! From the satisfying taste of fresh honey to the blissful aroma of a beeswax candle, this class celebrates everything the hive has to offer! Using bee magic we will be making an Herb Infused Honey, Melt & Pour Honey Beeswax Soap, Solid Body Balm, and Tealight Beeswax Candle. Whether you're interested in creating delicious meals that highlight honey's robust taste, developing all-natural beauty products, or preparing home remedies that will soothe any ailment, this class makes it easy for anyone to savor the simple pleasures that come from harvesting the golden nectar. With step-by-step instructions and plenty of buzz-worthy wisdom, this class will help you sweeten up your day with all the goodness that honeybees bring. Yoga for Everybody

This is a medium-paced flow with a focus on the foundations of postures. The class has a combination of mobility, strength, and alignment postures that enhance any level of practitioner interested in developing more awareness in breath and movement. $15 per person. Advance registration required as space is limited. All levels, Ages 7 & older. Meet at the Nordland Library.

Mushroom Hunting
Thursday, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
This educational walk will educate you how to locate and identify a variety of wild mushrooms, such as chantrelles, bolets, and morels. 1-2 miles, may include some off trail exploration. Add to your knowledge or learn a new skill. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo. Advanced registration is required, as space is limited.

Self-Guided Ebike and Brew Tour
Thursday & Friday, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Self-guided adventure EBike tour that includes stops at three local, yet national breweries, Rock Art Brewery, Lost Nation Brewery and Ten Bends Beer, all from the seat of an electric bike! This tour combines the best of LVBT’s scenic tours and is almost exclusively on the car-free Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. Guests are provided with easy navigational info and all the details/history of the breweries you'll be visiting and you may explore and sample at your leisure. Enjoy the breweries at your own time and pace and grab a bite to eat while you're at Lost Nation or any of the other great eateries on and nearby the trail! $75 per person. Meet at Lamoille Valley Bike Tours trailside location 19 Creamery Street, Johnson VT.
