#1 Family Friendly Resort in the East! - SKI Magazine Reader Survey 2019
American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program
Do you have trouble fitting in swim lessons for your children in your busy schedule? Now you can incorporate your child’s and adult swim lessons into your vacation!
Our instructors are trained and certified by the American Red Cross, so our unique 6-level instructional approach is unlike anything else being offered. Each level includes training in basic water safety and helping other in an emergency, along with swimming skills presented in a logical progression.
There are six learn-to-swim levels. Each level builds on skills learned in the previous level. Children who have not participated in Red Cross lessons previously will be placed appropriately based on their current swimming skills.
All lessons meet at the Mountainside Water Playground.
Due to COVID-19, Smugglers’ Notch Resort is only offering private or semi-private swim lessons. An adult is required to enter the water with the participant if registering for a Preschool, Level 1, or Level 2 swim lesson. Level 3-6 swim lessons do not need an accompanying adult and will take place with respect to social distancing.
Swim lessons are available Monday-Friday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. To reserve a lesson, please register 24 hours in advance at smuggs.com/register or by calling 802-644-1293.
We recommend that you come ready to swim! Arrive and leave in your swimming apparel.
