The 2019 PDGA Masters Professional Disc Golf World Championship is coming to Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Vermont! The tournament, the most prestigious of competition in the sport of disc golf, will take place over the week of June 22-29, 2019, on the two elite level championship courses at the Smugglers’ Notch Disc Golf Center. The courses, Brewster Ridge & Fox Run Meadows, and Smugglers' Notch Resort are home to the well-known Pro Tour event, the Green Mountain Championship. Registration will begin in April.
An old-fashioned July 4th celebration in Jeffersonville with parade at 10:00 am, carnival with games and vendors, kids' games, live entertainment from 66 City Band playing classic rock tunes, and food. Don't forget the world famous frog jumping contest!
And back at Smugglers' ... Starting at 5:00 pm, the Resort hosts a tasty Firemen's Barbecue on the Green with proceeds benefiting the local fire department. Goodtime Charlie hosts music for all ages on the resort village green from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Also on the green, the Vermont National Guard 40th Army Band plays their mix of classic favorites and patriotic tunes beginning at 8:00 pm. At dusk, enjoy the spectacular fireworks against the backdrop of the Green Mountains. It's a full day of celebration! Happy Independence Day!
