Disc Golf in Spring at Smugglers' Notch

Spring Smugglers' Notch Disc Golf

Also known as Frisbee Golf, Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the country.

Smugglers' Notch Disc Golf Center is happy to announce that with the easing of restrictions by the State of Vermont, we will be opening our Brewster Ridge Disc Golf Course to the public on Friday, May 22, 2020!

We appreciate your patience as we continue to prepare for the season during these uncertain times. Please take note: Disc Golf is naturally a socially distanced sport, and we will be taking additional precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We ask for your protection, and the protection of others around you, please limit your group size to 4 people or less, and call ahead to set up a tee time prior to your arrival at the course.

Please call the Disc Golf Pro Shop at 802.644.2477 or e-mail discgolf@smuggs.com to set up a tee time prior to your visit. For your safety and the protection of others around you, groups will be restricted to four(4) people or less, and we ask players to limit their time and exposure while in the Parking/Pro Shop area as much as possible.
This spring, play a round of disc golf at Smugglers'! Like the traditional game of golf, disc golf provides recreation, challenge, competition and just plain fun for participants of all ages!

A game of disc golf is a great way to combine a Spring walk in the woods with a game the whole family can play. We are pleased to offer our 18-hole Brewster Ridge and Fox Run Meadows courses for your enjoyment. Please note that the availability of our courses in is weather dependent; wet conditions may delay opening to prevent trail damage.

Just like regular golf, each hole is comprised of a "tee box," "fairways," and a "green." The ultimate target on the "green" is a specially designed metal basket on a pole, strategically placed in true golf course fashion.

There are discs designed specifically for disc golf - drivers, fairway drivers, mid ranges and putters and many different models of each to choose from! You are welcome to bring your own flying discs. Most players prefer the specifically designed discs for this type of play.
