Our goal is to provide our campers, guests, and staff with a safe, fun, and enriching experience. We are waiting for additional guidance from the CDC and the Vermont Health Department. Expect an update by April 16, 2021

Dynamos explore a unique theme each day with fresh activities to give children a chance to discover new facets of themselves and the world around them. In our experience, offering 3 & 4 year olds a special focus each day helps them succeed and enjoy their day away from mom and dad.
Discovery Dynamos All-Day Program

Ages 3 & 4 years
Offered daily: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Meeting location: The Discovery Center adjacent to the Nature Center
Check-in time: 9:15 am - 9:45 am. Prior to 10:00 am camp departure, groups play games, ice breakers, and playground fun.
Program cost: $95 per child, per day. Discovery Dynamos daily program is INCLUDED with the FamilyFest Package and 25% OFF the SimplySmuggs Package.
Optional camp lunch program: $6.15 plus tax or bring a bag lunch.
Children are placed in groups based on age and developmental abilities. Typically 3 year-olds are placed together and 4 year-olds are placed together. If you wish children of different ages to be in the same group, the older child will be placed with the younger child, in a group appropriate to the younger child.
Discovery Dynamos program is licensed by the State of Vermont Social Rehabilitation Services to ensure the best programming and care possible for children ages 3-4. Children must be completely potty trained and out of diapers and pull-ups to participate in the Dynamos program.

Every day kids will play at one of our water facilities, re-energize with snack time, and relax during story and quiet time. During water play, groups will get to enjoy one of our wadding pools carefully supervised by lifeguards and counselors.
Monday — Taking Flight
We will focus on birds that live in Vermont! We will dedicate the day to learning about birds through stories, bird watching and making our own bird feeders or bird houses!
Tuesday — "X" Marks the Spot
The day will be dedicated to going on treasure hunts. Throughout the day we will be finding buried treasure, hear stories and make our own treasure maps and treasure galore!
Wednesday — Gotta Move
This will be an action-packed day filled with moving and grooving! The day will consist of an obstacle course, fun & games, and at the end of the day we will watch the 802 Disc Dogs.
Thursday — Performance Day
Today the kids will work on songs and performances for our Thursday afternoon showcase. All parents are invited to the parade on the Village Green at 3:30 pm.
Friday — Rockin' Rhythms
Come join us for a day filled with music! We will dedicate the day to making our own instruments, dancing and singing songs with Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate.
Saturday & Sunday —
Discovery Dynamos and Trail Blazers will meet at the Discovery Center . TREASURES staff will lead campers in craft making and indoor & outdoor group games. They will splash in Little Smugglers' Lagoon and the Turtle Slide at the Mountainside Water Playground, hike along our trails, visit the nature center and more.
Every Day Activities Sampling
Daily Water Play
Groups will get a chance to play in one of our wading pools or our Splashville Splash Pad, which are 2 1/2 feet deep and are carefully supervised by counselors and lifeguards.
Please let us know if your child normally takes a nap, at what time, and for how long. We will group the children as best we can.
Groups will get a snack in the afternoon. There is a different snack every day. Check out our bulletin board, located at the Discovery Camp check-in, for the current snack schedule.
How to find your child during the day: The best time to check on your child is at lunch time, which is 11:15 am in the Meeting House. The Guest Service Desk can also help you locate individual groups.
Typical Day in Camp:
9:15 am - 9:45 am Check in/Registration
9:45 am - 11:00 am Morning Activities
11:15 am Lunch time in the Meeting House
11:45 am - 4:00 pm Afternoon activities (e.g., pool time, snack time, arts & crafts, and games)
All children in this program must be out of diapers and pull-ups. Typical Child to Counselor Ratio is 1:5. Arrangements can be made for children requiring more individual attention than with the above ratio for an additional fee.
Camp Program Lunch
For your convenience, we invite your children to participate in our optional Children's Program Lunch at an additional fee of $6.15 per child, per day, plus tax. Kids Camp Lunch Menu
What should you wear?
• Sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes. NO SANDALS or Crocs allowed.
• Dress for an active outdoor day, including sweatshirt, light jacket or raincoat if needed.
• Please label all of your belongings.
