Modeled on the teaching experience provided by our successful ski school, the mountain biking school at Smugglers' offers camps, clinic and special sessions for all ages and abilities. On resort property, you'll find beginner and novice mountain bike trails and some more challenging single track. Intermediate and expert riders can easily access some of the best mountain biking in Northern New England with over 100 miles of great single track within an easy drive. Our professionally trained mountain bike coaches and guides will help you to get the most out of your experience, whether you're just learning to ride, want to further develop your skills or want a guide to explore the Green Mountains.
NEW for Summer 2015, we're adding an MTB Skills Park with flow trail, rock garden, jump line, step ups and more features to enhance the experience provided by our pump track. The learning experience provided by the MTB Park & pump track on Sir Henry's will be great fun for all levels of riders! With our convenient rental program, you don't have to worry about having the right bike. We have a wide array of frame sizes available for adults & children. Mountain Bike Camp

Mountain Bike Camp is for anyone wanting to learn the basics of trail riding or looking for new challenges. Discover the joy of riding at your own pace, exploring the forest trails that surround us. Whether taking a first step into a new sport, or fine-tuning advanced technique, Mountain Bike Camp is for anyone looking to ride! In this five day offering you will also learn about the history of mountain biking and the opportunities to ride at home. $429 per person for 5-day program, $99 per person for single day program. Learn the basics of mountain biking or work on your skills in a two-hour clinic. Novices will have fun and gain more confidence while learning proper body position, shifting, trail etiquette and other tips to prepare to hit the trail. Our pros will help fine tune skills for intermediate and advanced level riders. Daily, 10:00 am and 1:00 pm; two hours, levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Ages 7 & older, 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Clinics are limited to 6 participants. $49 per person, rental of helmet and bike not included.

Our new bike park is the perfect place to introduce your young child to the joys of mountain biking with pedal-free lightweight bikes that are easy to maneuver. Small kid-friendly park features that mimic the challenge of a trail guarantee fun for kids ages 3-6! Monday-Friday, 10:00 am. Two hours. $39.
MTB Park Session

Back Roads Bike Tour

Join us for a wonderful day exploring the country roads and rolling farmland around the resort on a mountain bike.
$75 per person. Bring a lunch, water and day pack. Ages 13 & older. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests must provide own transportation. Includes equipment. Program meets at the Clubhouse. Space is limited, advance registration is recommended. Included with the Adventure Connection Vacation Package.

Stowe Bike & Recreational Path
Enjoy Stowe's bike path, a year-round, 5.3 mile paved recreational trail. The trail starts in Stowe Village, next to the Stowe Congregational church, winds its way through the woods and meadows, and crosses the West Branch River 11 times on arched wooden bridges. Numerous shops, lodges, and restaurants are accessible from the path. The Stowe Bike Path map identifies bicycle rental shops as well as parking along the route.
