The 2018 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship is coming to Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Vermont! The tournament, the most prestigious of competition in the sport of disc golf, will take place over the course of five days September 5-9, 2018, on the two elite level championship courses at the Smugglers’ Notch Disc Golf Center. The courses, Brewster Ridge & Fox Run Meadows, and Smugglers' Notch Resort are home to the well-known Pro Tour event, the Green Mountain Championship, which will skip a year while the World Championship steps in.

All ages can find fun with diverse activities that include tastings of sweet and hard ciders that introduce the award-winning flavors of Vermont's cideries, apple storytime, and cider press demonstrations. Our BrewFest highlights some of our state's excellent breweries plus regional favorites and craft ciders. Enjoy samples from Stony Creek, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Angry Orchard Cider, and Truly Spiked and Sparkling. If your tastes run closer to home, don't miss samples from Vermont's own Long Trail, Magic Hat, Otter Creek, Shed, Boyden Valley, Citizen Cider, Zero Gravity, and Harpoon. More breweries are being added; stay tuned! A DJ spins the tunes and the Mountain Grille puts on a tasty appetizer buffet. 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm in the Meeting House. Tickets are available at the door; $22 entry includes 8 samples, munchies, and a souvenir sampling glass. 21 & older, please. Join us in the greeting area from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm for this special event to light up the longest night of the year as we welcome Winter with open arms! The Solstice begins with the weekly Winter Carnival. Then we'll be celebrating with Cirque De Fuego -- Vermont's premier fire performers, a live drum performance from Burlington Taiko, music, and of course, a bonfire with s'mores, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider! We round out the evening with a Torchlight Parade and Fireworks display at 8:00 pm. We're ready to light up the night and start Winter out with a bang!
