Guest of One is Smugglers' guiding principle fo customer service ... put simply, it's treating each guest as though they are the only guest! Employees who go above and beyond their normal job responsibilities in demonstrating exemplary guest service may be recommended for recognition. This recognition may include a description of the employee's Guest of One efforts in the employee newsletter and an award of $25 in Smugglers' Gold that can be redeemed as cash for Resort dining, programs, and services. A guest was walking up the stairs to the Ozone in the FunZone 2.0 when she dropped her keys. They fell down between the staircase and the wall and ended up underneath the staircase. Brandy Mitchell tried to help the guests retrieve the fallen keys from the stairs, but they could not get to them. Brandy figured out where the keys had landed and realized it was part of the storage closet in the Refuel Café. She was able to cut a small hole in the sheetrock ceiling in the closet, retrieved the keys, and returned them back to the club owner guest.
How Do You Like Us?
That's the question we ask our guests after they've completed their Smugglers' vacation and returned home to savor their great memories! In the How Do You Like US (HDYLU) comments, many guests mention particular employees and departments who have helped them out or who they have enjoyed interacting with. Employees mentioned by guests in the HDYLU will be highlighted on a weekly basis on this page, beginning in early July. Each employee listed will be in the running for prizes at our end of the year party and one will be selected at random to receive $25 in Smugglers' Gold during the next operations meeting.
