Due to low demand, group lessons are discontinued for the remainder of the season. Private lessons, First Timer Packages, and Night School are available February 22 - April 4, 2021.

All participants and instructors will be required to wear masks when closer than 6 feet. Guests will be able to ride the lifts with their travel group only. All participants in Snow Sport University programs will be required to adhere to the
Vermont State Travel Guidelines. Participants are also required to fill out a release form online at smuggs.com/ssuattestation

Available December 11, 2020 - April 4, 2021

Rip up our mountains with people your own age and ability level every day at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm. Explore the variety of terrain on our three mountains, or spend time in any of our Terrain Parks working on some new tricks.

You can also meet new people to attend activities with after the lifts close. We offer cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, swimming and basketball, as well as our Teen Alley Teen Center. Give Night School for Boarding under the lights a try or check the daily schedules for other organized teen activities. You may even want to consider the benefits of a private lesson.

Beginning snowboarders of all ages will be set up with Burton Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' SSU professionals.

Top 10 reasons to take a Smugglers' Notch Private Lesson:
  1. To completely focus on YOUR goals and aspirations.
  2. To get better faster, by learning from the best.
  3. To stay friends with your friends (friends don’t let friends teach friends).
  4. To learn to ski and ride along with your friends and family (semi-private lessons).
  5. To look better and feel more confident on the slopes.
  6. To learn to teach your kiddos.
  7. To conquer your fears.
  8. To be in control of your day on the mountain, with flexible lesson times.
  9. To master steeps, trees, bumps, powder, technical or flat and forgiving terrain.
  10. To build mountain memories that'll last a lifetime.
