Ski & Snowboard Programs, Lessons & Fun Activities
Trail Blazers - Focused development with delight for Kindergarteners & First Graders — Ages 5 - 6
Available December 7, 2018 - April 7, 2019
In our all-day or 2-hour Trail Blazers program children ages 5-6 ski or ride with coaches who develop a sound structure of skills and knowledge through guided exploration of learning terrain. Throw in the fun of new challenges and the thrill of handling new terrain, and our Trail Blazers program creates lifelong snow sports enthusiasts! Kids will love our on-snow playground with sculpted snow features such as a 100-foot mini pipe, banked turns and rollers and fun learning tools like hoops and obstacle courses that accelerate their skills development. Smugglers' Riglet Park with its unique Treehouse, dedicated to developing the skills of little snowboarders, is now part of the new learning area, conveniently located in the heart of the resort village.
As children progress in their skills, our coaches continue to develop a sound structure of skills and knowledge on Sir Henry's Learning Hill and through guided exploration of the beginner terrain on Morse Mountain. Coaches add to the day's entertainment, engaging the kids with countless games.
Flaik GPS units are included in all-day ski and snowboard camp programs for tracking vertical, mileage and speed! Also, beginning snowboarders will be set up with Burton
Learn to Ride equipment. They'll enjoy the best possible introductory experience by combining this specially designed equipment with the teaching expertise of Smugglers' SSU professionals.
