Wow what a day it was! We received 5 inches of new snow overnight and 9 inches in the past 3 days. My first run of the day was Upper FIS. It was groomed last night and it had a beautiful blanket of fresh snow on top of the corduroy. I had to tell to you that stopping to take pictures took a great deal of discipline. All I wanted to do was to keep floating through the powder!
Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating. We now have 74 trails open with terrain for all ability levels.
45 trails will be groomed for tonight, including Upper Drifter, Harvey’s Hideaway, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 156 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies early with increasing clouds and temperatures between 31 and 41 degrees.
