Somebody shook the snow globe

The two words of the day are snowing and blowing. All upper mountain lifts are presently on wind hold. Currently, it is snowing and 20 degrees at the summit of Sterling with wind gusts of up to 60 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for snow showers 1 to 3 inches of accumulation on top is possible, windy, and a high of 36 degrees. We received an inch of new snow this morning bringing us to 200 inches of snowfall this season so far. Today we have 2 lifts operating, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 9 trails open and all 9 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with base depths of 10 to 44 inches.
