Soft conditions

Today we have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 69 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 35 trails have been groomed for today, Upper FIS skier’s right, Smugglers’ Alley, and Lower Morse Liftline for a grand total of 140 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 14 to 50 inches. Natural snow trails are a little sticky. Snowmaking trails are skiing and riding the best today. Currently, it is raining and 44 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for rain and wind with a high of 54 degrees at the base and 48 degrees at higher elevations. Wear something waterproof and enjoy the soft conditions! Colder temperatures roll in tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for periods of snow with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible. There is also snow in the forecast for Monday night, another 1 to 3 inches of new snow.
