I would like you to meet siblings Henry and Autumn from Morrisville, Vermont. Henry is 3 years old and Autumn is 6 years old. I met them on their way to Sir Henry’ s Wonder Carpet and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift. I was impressed that they were carrying their own skis. They were both very happy that they were going skiing! Autumn is super excited, because today she is going to ride the chair lift for the first time! It was wonderful to meet the two of you and I hope you have a fantastic time tearing up the slopes today!
Sisters Willa and Charlotte are enjoying their first day of season. They are looking forward to many laps on Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet!
Smuggs Family Fun
We received 18 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 23 inches in the past 3 days, and 221 inches this season so far!
We will be 100 percent open tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 78 trails open. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 30 to 64 inches. 40 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, that’s a grand total of 146 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

Currently it is snowing and 0 degrees at the summit of Sterling with light snow and winds of 10 to 20 mph. Tonight’s forecast is light snow with 2″ of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is light snow and another 2 inches of accumulation possible with temperatures between -10 and +3 degrees.

I would like to meet the Lee Family. They traveled from Toronto to be here. This is their first time at Smugglers’ Notch and they are having a blast. They were all smiles as they got ready to explore all that Smuggs has to offer! They told me that they made some life long memories with their family and they are coming back!

Ryan and his brother grew up in Vermont. They have since moved, but they bring their families here to Smuggs to ski and celebrate the holidays. Everyone is all smiles as they get ready to ski over to the upper mountains to have fun on Madonna and Sterling.
