Tomorrow we plan to have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We have 23 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 20 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snow Snake, and Lower FIS for a grand total of 86 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Sterling, Madonna II, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Currently it is snowing and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. We received 1 to 2 inches of new snow today and 74 inches this season so far.

It’s snowing again

Currently, it is snowing and 17 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of showers between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, then rain and wind after 3:00 pm with a high of 43. Lift service may be affected by the wind. Weather permitting tomorrow we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 5 intermediate trails, 4 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open at this time. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 18 to 40 inches.

Mask wearing is mandatory! You should wear your mask in line, in the parking lot, and on the chair. You can ski or ride without your mask, but please put it back on before going into the lift corral. Thank you for your understanding. We want to have a safe season!

Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. 35 trails have been groomed for today, including Shuttle, Dixie’s Knoll, and Lower Pipeline for a grand total of 132 acres of freshly groomed terrain. We received an inch of new snow overnight and 32 inches in the past week. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We plan to have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 16 to 54 inches. 38 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Drifter, and Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 147 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is cloudy and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies early becoming partly sunny this afternoon with a high of 33 degrees.
