Smugglers' Snow Sport University Programs for Women
Ladies, it's your turn!
Our women's programs are led by expert female coaches focused on offering fun and confidence boosting sessions with plenty of skiing and riding tips, tricks and terrain tactics that address the differences of how women move on snow. Whether you want to start building basic skills or fine tune advanced techniques, our small groups are designed to be playful, supportive and take full advantage of the terrain offered by Smugglers' three mountains.
Beginner & Intermediate skiers/riders meet at the Village Gazebo and spend their 3 hour session exploring the variety of terrain on Morse Mountain while Advanced and Expert skiers/riders meet in front of the Green Peppers Deck at the Madonna/Sterling Base Lodge.
Women's 6-Week Program includes
* Small group size (space is limited) * A social environment for all ability levels, ages 18 & older * Lunch * Après Sport beverage with your coach!
Program meets at 9:30 am. On hill ends around 1:30 pm with Après following.

"I loved the Women's 6 week learn to ski program I was a part of this year. Sara Holloway was amazing at bringing energy and passion and really helping each person in the group individually hone their skills. The program was great and really got me started in what I see to be a longtime love of skiing." — Stephanie from Cambridge, VT
"I thoroughly enjoyed the Women's Ski Clinic...I am an advanced recreational skier and mostly joined the group to find people to ski with. I learned some new ski techniques that bumped up my ability. The instructors were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thank you very much for offering this program." — Mary Ellen from Westford, VT
"The 6 week women's ski program was fun, motivating, got me out on the mountain more than I would have been, allowed me the personal time to focus on my skiing (instead of my child's), and I look at it as a hugely successful investment in the quality family time that I will have with my husband and son on the mountain. I gained confidence and a foundational skill set that I will build on to continue improving. The program coaches did a nice job of keeping like skill sets together and pairing up the more adventurous so we didn't get bored but also didn't push others beyond their fun and comfort zone. I was very hesitant to sign up but I am so glad that I did. A little more skiing pre-lunch would have been nice, I often felt like one more run would have really rounded out the day. I feel like this was exactly the post baby (3 yrs old) program that I needed to jump start my motivation to stay out on the mountain. For me there was some value in the women only aspect, but I think that the real success was in the instructors and the multi week program. It wouldn't have mattered to me if there were men in the class as well. Plus I made some new ski partner friends!" - Rachael, Jeffersonville, VT, Winter 2017-2018
