We received 2 inches of new snow overnight, 10 inches in the past 2 days, and 16 inches in the past 3 days! The Madonna 1 Lift is presently on wind hold. We have 77 skiable trails and 63 lift-accessible trails presently open. We have 6 lifts operating, Madonna 2, Village, Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 4 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 20 to 35 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies, windy with a high of 14 degrees at the base and 8 degrees at higher elevations. Wear an extra layer and have fun in all the snow! 39 trails have been groomed for today, including McPherson’s, Snow Snake, and Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 198 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 50 inches. We are presently making snow in the Zone Terrain Park. There is a Winter Weather Watch for this weekend with up to 11 inches of new snow possible!
