Needle Felting Workshops
Needle felting is the easy, fun, and relaxing craft of painting and sculpting with wool using a special needle. Learn a fun new craft that is easy to continue once you return home.
Needle Felt Maple Leaves — Sunday from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon.
Make pins that easily convert into ornaments for your holiday table. You'll be using a stencil and lovely Summer and Fall colors of wool to create one of a kind keepsakes.
$25 per person, ages 8 & up, under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Advance sign-up required
Decorative Needle Felt Marbles and Balls — Sunday from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Super fun and easy, think balls and marbles decorated with polka dots, stars, hearts or spirals, or even mini Earths and other planets! Anything you can imagine on a little wool ball!
$30 per person, ages 8 & up, under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Advance sign-up required
Painter's Palette — Thursday from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.
Always wanted to paint with acrylics? Do you already paint and want to increase your creativity and freedom of expression? This class is designed for you! Artist Nancy Schade leads you in exploring the primary colors, composition and play. Each person will be pleased to bring home a painting at the end of this 2 1/2 hour session. $48 per person, per session. Materials included.
Sculpting Workshop — Thursday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Explore your creative side as you develop natural forms into clay images in this three dimensional art form. Nancy Schade leads you in clay modeling, learning the properties of various clays and forming clay into a finishable piece. Take home a complete sculpture. $48 per person, per session. Materials included.
