Saturday, November 5 9th Annual Barn Bash. Join Backcountry Magazine, Smugglers' Notch Resort and Union Bank for the ninth annual Barn Bash and Raffle on Saturday November 5! Kick off your Winter fun with the Barn Bash's film fest, giant gear raffle, live music, & more!
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Enjoy food, drink provided by von Trapp Brewing, movies, a HUGE GEAR RAFFLE, and live music beginning at 9 pm by Brett Hughes & the Honky Tonk Allstars. Jump into mid-winter conditions with the Barn Bash's second annual Fall Line Film Festival, a compilation of short videos submitted by Backcountry Magazine readers, friends and industry partners. The film fest kicks off at 7:00 pm.
All Barn Bash proceeds benefit Cambridge Rotary Winter Wellness Days, which puts children in grades 4 through 6 on the slopes of Smuggs for five days throughout the Winter.
Pre-purchased admission to Barn Bash is $25 and includes a Smuggs lift ticket, raffle ticket, food and a beverage. Tickets are $30 at the door.
Friday, November 18 The Vermont Handcrafters' Holiday Fine Craft and Art Show — This showcase of fine art and crafts is a seasonal tradition in our area! At the Sheraton Conference Center on Route 2/Main Street in Burlington. 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.

CAMBRIDGE AREA ROTARY SKI, RIDE & SKATE SWAP — Sale of good condition snowboards, alpine and cross-country skis, skates, snow sports clothing and accessories in the Community Center in Jeffersonville, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Win a Smuggs Bash Badge! Kids' Korner for crafts and activities. Peace Pugs Dogsledding demos. Equipment clinics, seminars, demos and deals! All proceeds benefit Cambridge Elementary School Winter Wellness ski & ride days. (Drop off items at Cambridge Elementary on Friday, November 18, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Saturday, December 10 22nd annual BrewFest, Part 1 - Enjoy samples from a variety of Vermont and regional craft brews as well as traditional favorites. This BrewFest showcases our biggest line-up ever with over 40 samples! Sip and savor brews from Goose Island, Blue Point, Long Trail, Harpoon, Sierra Nevada, Shed, Otter Creek, Switchback, Sam Adams, 14th Star, Zero Gravity, Queen City, Crazy Mountain, Narragansett, Magic Hat, Traveler and Shock Top breweries. You'll also enjoy delicious hard ciders from Citizen Cider, Angry Orchard, Woodchuck and Boyden Valley.
A DJ spins the tunes and the Resort's Mountain Grille provides tasty munchies. 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm in the Meeting House. Tickets are available at the door; $20 entry includes 8 samples and souvenir sampling glass. 21 and older, please. December 18-23 Elf Tuck-In! Thrill your little ones with a special bit of holiday magic, bedtime stories, and treats. Our Smugglers' Elf will read them Christmas tales as they excitedly await Santa's arrival. Available on the half-hour between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Please contact TREASURES at extension 1180, or the Guest Service Desk at extension 1293 for more details and advanced registration. $20 per visit.Friday, January 27 Ski & Ride with The Point - Vermont's independent radio network The Point offers a special discount on skiing and riding with a coupon and Point button. Continue the fun at the après ski party in the Black Bear!
Saturday, January 28 Winter Trails Day at Smugglers' Notch Resort. This annual celebration of snowshoeing and cross country skiing is free for novices and nationally sponsored by the Snow Sports Industries of America to encourage newcomers to these winter sports. Pre-registration has been available online. Smugglers' Nordic Center will offer short instructional sessions from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm for first time snowshoers; please note that cross country ski sessions will not be available on this day due to current conditions. Snowshoe rentals and trail access for first timers are free. For more info, contact activities director Stacey Comishock at (802) 644-8544. Sunday, February 5 Super Sunday - Come watch Super Bowl LI, live from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, at our Big Game Football Party! We've got your seats in front of a gigantic television screen and a FREE half-time Super Sunday Snack Buffet with all your favorite munchies! Doors open at 5:30 pm in the lower level of the Meeting House. Game time 6:30 pm.
Thursday, February 23 FamilyFun Magazine Winter Carnival - Always a family favorite! FamilyFun Magazine teams up with Smugglers' for this special Winter Carnival on our Village Green featuring music and live entertainment plus face painting, games, a bonfire, giveaways and an outdoor barbeque. The festivities begin at 2:30 pm!
Bonfire, torchlight parade and fireworks - Join us for the fun as we light up the night sky with a bonfire, dramatic torchlight parade starring our Snow Sport University instructors, and fireworks against the backdrop of the Green Mountains! The Village Green offers a great vantage point for watching the action. 8:00 pm. Saturday, April 1 22nd Annual BrewFest Part 2 - Join us in the Meeting House from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm and sample the finest in Vermont and regional craft beers and ciders.
Enjoy samples from Blue Point, Goose Island, Sierra Nevada, Narragansett, Sam Adams, and Coney Island breweries as well as Shock Top and Angry Orchard Cider. If your tastes run closer to home, don't miss samples from Vermont's own Woodchuck Cider, Boyden Valley Winery and Cidery, and Zero Gravity, Shed, Otter Creek, Magic Hat, Queen City, 14th Star, Von Trapp, Stone Corral, Harpoon, Long Trail, and Traveler breweries.
Jammin' Sam plays all your dance party hits and the Morse Mountain Grille provides the snacks.
