We're famous for our children's ski and snowboard programs!
Why? Because at Smugglers' Snow Sport University, we inspire children to learn, we encourage them to improve, we build their confidence, and we group them by age and ability so they can make new friends while they learn. And, as if all that is not enough, we challenge them to explore the mountain and their limits, to be smart and safe, while encouraging them to have fun. In fact, that's what we do best!
It's never too young to learn. We start kids at age 2 1/2 on skis and age 3 on snowboards. Full-day camps for ages 3 to 15 include on-mountain instruction, lunch, entertainment, and exploration programs.

We've teamed with Vermont's Burton Snowboards to develop the next generation of the Burton Riglet Park, an on-snow play area on the Resort’s Sir Henry’s Learning Hill with fun terrain features designed for introducing young children to snowboarding. The park’s focal point is a “treehouse,” an elevated platform with ramps that children can ride down, a balance area inside the treehouse and a lift chair that swings to help kids practice getting on and off the lift. Playing in the park on small rolling hills, miniature box-style rails, pyramids and a mini-halfpipe allows children to gain the necessary balance and muscle memory to begin sliding and making turns on sloped terrain.
Briton from Ossining, NY -“My 3 year-old son participated in the riglet sessions. I thought the set-up for the Riglet park was fantastic for him. He could not have come away more enthusiastic and eager to get back on a board after his time there. I have nothing but good things to say about that program/park.”
Rachel from Hingham, MA — "My boys loved the ski school and the instructors were fabulous! As a mother of a child with a nut allergy the staff could not have been more accommodating. It was so great to put the boys in ski school and not have to worry about what they were eating." We Guarantee Family Fun at Snow Sport University!
Our Snow Sport Learning Programs are the best your family will ever experience! We guarantee that each member of your family will have fun, learn to ski or snowboard or will improve technique, no matter what his or her current level of ability - novice to expert - or we will refund the entire lesson portion of that person's vacation package. It's as simple as that. Looking for some tips to help your child develop a love of Winter snow sports?
