AutumnFest Activities at Smugglers' Notch

The fun goes on and on for everyone!

Choose from a variety of Resort activities, including tennis courts, bike rentals, the Clubhouse, pools and hot tubs, our year-round Zip Line Canopy Tour, guided and self-guided nature hikes & walks, playgrounds, mini-golf, disc golf, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a host of activities and attractions in the Smugglers' area.

A SmuggsPass is required for activities followed by a checkmark ✔.

The following programs are available during AutumnFest from September 5 - October 15, 2017.

Aqua-Aerobics
Daily 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm 9/6 - 9/18, Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm 9/19 - 10/16.
A great way to get a low impact workout. At Mountainside Pool through 9/18, at Courtside Pool starting 9/19.

Art & Crafts
Sunday, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Join us for some great art projects that your whole family will love. There is a lot of creative work to be done so please be prompt. All ages. Meets at the yurt next to Courtside Pool.

Preschool Games
Sunday, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for the familiar games of childhood and free play while meeting some new friends. Ages 0-7. Meets at the Yurt next to Courtside Pool.

Pickleball
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 9:00 am - 10:00 am
A cross between, badminton, tennis and ping pong, Pickleball is a game that is easy to learn and fun to play! Meet at the North Hill tennis courts. SmuggsPass required.

AutumnFest Welcome Orientation
Mondays - from September 5 - November 28, 2016, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Join us at the Welcome Orientation in The Meeting House and learn about Resort activities and area attractions. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be served.

French Gourmet Winery Experience
Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Boyden Valley Winery invites you to join them for a French Gourmet Experience in Vermont. Join them at their farm for a tour of the winery and tasting of their own wines, served with gourmet cheeses, fresh fruits and breads. Cheese plates purchased for guests under 21 will be served with juice. $24.95 per person plus tax. Pre-registration required, space is limited. Transportation required. Meet at the Boyden Valley Winery.

Apple Picking at Chapin Orchard
Wednesday & Friday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Travel to Chapin Orchard where you can choose from several varieties of apples to pick and bring home. Shop the orchard store for local honey, maple syrup and apple goodies. SmuggsPass required. Transportation provided. Meet at the Gazebo. Pre-registration required, space is limited.

Mushroom Hunting
Thursday, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
This educational walk will teach you how to locate and identify a variety of wild mushrooms, such as chanterelles, boletes and morels. 1-2 miles, may include some off-trail exploration. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo.

The Vermont Fall Facial
Thursday, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, will show you how to care for your special skin type with wonderful natural beauty products you can make yourself. Youll make your own nutritious face care products all with a fall flare & then indulge in a fabulous five-step facial. These recipes will brighten up your day and your face! You will be applying an Apple & Oat Cleanser, a Pumpkin Face Mask, a Cranberry Toner and a Vanilla Moisturizer. Come in stressed & leave relaxed & glowing! Please bring a large towel, bowl & something to tie your hair back. This class is open to all! $40 per person. Meets at the Nordland Library. Pre-registration required, space is limited.

Herbal Kitchen Classics
Thursday, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Have you ever wanted to add a little zest to your food? It's simple & tasty! Join Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, as we cover some kitchen classics. We will be exploring some inventive additions to your cooking as we prepare these creations. Every kitchen needs some Flavored Extracts, and oh how easy they are to make! Tired of using plain old salt on your food? Try preparing some Herbal Gourmet Salts to spice up the ordinary. Last but not least, we will be making an Herbal Infused Honey to sweeten up your drinks & foods. We will do a little taste testing & then everyone will prepare their own! $35 per person. Meet at Nordland Library. Pre-registration required, space is limited.

Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Journey around the village following our clues, you might even learn something new. All ages. Meets at the Yurt next to the Courtside Pool.

Mini-Golf Tournament
Saturday, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Join us for a mini-golf tournament and show off your putting skills. All ages. Meets at FunZone 2.0.

The FunZone 2.0 Indoor Family Fun Complex
Fall indoor activities for the entire family to enjoy!
Children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Proper attire required, no bathing suits or wet clothing. Socks required.

The Friendly Pirate welcomes you aboard the Morse Mountain Grille for Pirate songs, dances, and jokes! The food's not free but the FUN is. SCHEDULE NOTE: This event will be replaced by Acoustic Music on Tuesday, September 6th and 27th, 2016.
