AutumnFest Activities at Smugglers' Notch

The fun goes on and on for everyone!

Choose from a variety of Resort activities, including tennis courts, bike rentals, the Clubhouse, pools and hot tubs, our year-round Zip Line Canopy Tour, guided and self-guided nature hikes & walks, playgrounds, mini-golf, disc golf, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, and a host of activities and attractions in the Smugglers' area.

A SmuggsPass is required for activities followed by a checkmark ✔.

The following programs are available during AutumnFest from September 5 - October 15, 2017.

Aqua-Aerobics
Monday - Friday 11:00 am
A great way to get a low impact workout. Ages 16 & older. Located at Mountainside Water Playground.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Sunday, 10:00 am - 11:15 am
This class will include a step by step approach that appropriately takes a student from one posture to the next. During this moderately paced practice will link together our body movements and our breathing. Some yoga experience is recommended. Ages 7 & older. $15 per person. Advance registration recommended as space is limited.

Art & Crafts
Sunday, 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Join us for some great art projects that your whole family will love. There is a lot of creative work to be done so please be prompt. All ages. Meets at the yurt next to Courtside Pool.

Preschool Games
Sunday, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us in the Ozone at the FunZone 2.0 for free-form preschool play. Ages 0-7. Meets at the FunZone 2.0.

Pickleball
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 9:00 am - 10:00 am
A cross between, badminton, tennis and ping pong, Pickleball is a game that is easy to learn and fun to play! Meet at the North Hill tennis courts. SmuggsPass required.

AutumnFest Welcome Orientation
Monday 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Join us at the Welcome Orientation in the lower level of the Meeting House and learn about Resort activities and area attractions. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be served.

French Gourmet Winery Experience
Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Boyden Valley Winery invites you to join them for a French Gourmet Experience in Vermont. Join them at their farm for a tour of the winery and tasting of their own wines, served with gourmet cheeses, fresh fruits and breads. Cheese plates purchased for guests under 21 will be served with juice. $24.95 per person plus tax. Pre-registration required, space is limited. Transportation required. Meet at the Boyden Valley Winery.

Apple Picking at Chapin Orchard
Wednesday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Travel to Chapin Orchard where you can choose from several varieties of apples to pick and bring home. Shop the orchard store for local honey, maple syrup and apple goodies. SmuggsPass required. Transportation provided. Meet at the Gazebo. Pre-registration required, space is limited.

Mushroom Hunting
Thursday, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
This educational walk will teach you how to locate and identify a variety of wild mushrooms, such as chanterelles, boletes and morels. 1-2 miles, may include some off-trail exploration. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo.

Sip and Wine Facial
Thursday, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
If you thought wine was only meant to be enjoyed as a drink, think again! Join Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, and experience a facial using only the finest ingredients that will rival the best salons & spas! Transform dull skin to its original glow with wine’s anti-aging & de-stressing properties. Bring your favorite wine to “sip” as we indulge in making & using a wine facial cleanser, steam, mask, toner & cream. Rejuvenating vino-therapy at it’s best! This class is open to all! $40 per person, ages 8 & older(Wine sipping for adults only). Please bring a large towel, bowl & something to tie your hair back. Meets at the Nordland Library. As Hippocrates once said: “Let food be thy medicine & medicine be thy food.” Join Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, as we discover how seasonal foods & spices can be used as both nourishment & medicine! We will be making a Spring Tonic Tea, Summer Smoothie, Fall Fire Cider & Winter Wellness Nutritional Balls. Transform common ingredients into healing foods & remedies! Whole foods & herbs are a powerhouse of nutrients & play a vital role in keeping us healthy. Join us for a mini-golf tournament and show off your putting skills. All ages. Meets at FunZone 2.0.
