Options include an array of sports, games, or adventures such as disc golf, geocaching, mini golf, creek exploration, and a trip to our reservoir where you can try out our new obstacle course! In the afternoon, we will open our Art Studio and you’ll have the chance to create take home projects such as friendship bracelets, journals, earth art, and more.
Friday — Nature Exploration

Our forests come alive in the autumn, and we have some thrilling nature activities planned to make it easy to explore them with our guides. Head out into Smugglers’ Forest and Nature Trail network to check out a nearby ancient forest, then investigate a large beaver pond that features many dams and pools. After returning to the Resort Village for lunch, we'll head out to the Brewster River Gorge in the afternoon to see one of the coolest waterfalls in Vermont!
Saturday — Fall Foliage Hiking

Start the weekend right by going to the Notch to enjoy one of Smugglers’ most fun and scenic hikes up to Sterling Pond, this body of water is at the highest elevation in the state. After lunch, check out the Sterling Pond shelter on the historic Long Trail before hiking down Smugglers’ ski trails back to the Resort!
Sunday — Camping, Backpacking & Survival Skills
