There's no end to the fun you can have with your youngsters, and there's plenty of action or relaxing you can do on your own while your kids are being well cared for and enjoying new friends in our award-winning, full day programs.
Join us for the entire week or for any one of our daily nature walks on easy trails or more vigorous all-day mountain hiking adventures including portions of the Long Trail and Mount Mansfield State Forest with some of Vermont's highest peaks. Our skilled guides know the area's natural history, the out of the way trails and the best views. Along the way, you'll build your aerobic fitness while you discover Vermont's wildlife, abundance of alpine trees, wildflowers and stunning scenery.
There are also self-guided walks, wikes and hikes in addition to nature trails for those who want to explore on their own. Hike to a waterfall or to our mountain water playground, or climb the spectacular Smugglers' Notch Pass area.

Road, Rock 'n River Tuesday - Thursday 10:00 am - 3:30 pm Let loose and play! Hop in a kayak and refine your paddling skills as you explore Vermont’s scenic rivers and lakes. Choose a day of rock climbing to learn the basics and hone your skills at Prospect Rock or choose a day of mountain biking and pedal along country roads past rolling farmland and quiet Vermont towns. Day long adventures, especially designed for adults and older teens. Enjoy multiple adventures in this 3-day program or choose a single day of fun.
Adventure Days Includes: Kayaking (Tuesday) * Biking (Wednesday) * High Ropes Challenge (Thursday)

Cooking classes with the chefs of the Hearth & Candle Restaurant! Learn how to prepare fresh pasta, rubs, Summer cocktails, and more ... New England Culinary Institute-trained chefs guide you through a fun culinary learning experience at the renowned Hearth & Candle Restaurant, conveniently located in our Resort Village! French Gourmet Winery Experience Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm The Boyden Valley Winery invites you to a "French Gourmet Winery Experience" in Vermont. Join them at their farm for a tour of the winery and tasting of their own wines, served with gourmet cheeses, fresh fruits, and breads. Cheese plates purchased for guests under 21 will be served with juice.
Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm Meet at the Boyden Valley Winery; stop by the Guest Services Desk for directions. $19 per person. Advance registration required, limited space available.
Chocolate Tasting Wednesday, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm You already know how to eat chocolate — now learn how to TASTE it! Your Chocolate Adventure starts with a brief history, from the Aztecs to the modern chocolate bar, including how chocolate is made. Then, the chocolate tasting begins with a variety of milk, dark and other delectable Lake Champlain Chocolates. Come find out the complexities of this ancient and mysterious delicacy.
Wednesday, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm in the Morse Mountain Grille, $18 per adult, $10 per child 13 & under, when accompanied by an adult. Advance registration required, as space is limited. A glass of wine is included for adults 21 & older.Even more choices for adults: Hit some balls at our Golf Driving Range or try one of our Adult Golf Clinics for professional instruction. There is also great golf nearby at Stowe Country Club or the Jack Nicklaus designed Vermont National Country Club.
At Smuggs, you can play tennis "on top of the world" or join a clinic.
Our Skatepark offers skilled instruction for adults only if you have never ridden a skateboard before or want to become the next X Games medallist!
Test your skills on The Brewster Ridge Course our 18 hole disc golf course, located on our cross country trails behind the Tennis Center.
