Join Karen Winslow in this outdoor painting class that exercises the heart, mind and spirit. We will be walking to various locations at Smuggs, then setting up to produce small plein air studies using both opaque and transparent watercolor on toned paper. Atmospheric perspective, color, composition, design, and movement, as well as working in mass and creating an illusion of outdoor light and depth ,will be our goal. All levels. Materials included.

Join Karen Winslow and get started on sketching and/or writing about the friends, flowers, trees, frogs, butterflies, birds, mountains, hikes or water fun...all or anything in your own style in your own little journal. Then, add to your journal throughout the week. You can work in pencil, pen, watercolor, and/or colored pencil - drawing and/or writing to create your own unique little book of memories. Fun for all ages. It is a great way to get outdoors, help you to learn about nature, express yourself, and record your time at Smuggs in a personal way. Materials included.

Tropical style braids done at the mountain, in the FunMeister's Clubhouse. We have an array of hair braiding styles ranging from a simple straight braid decorated with beads to a whole head of styled corn rows. Come look through our catalog and pick a style that’s just right for you. Enjoy it through your vacation and wear it home to show your friends.
