Farmers' Market
Monday, 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us in the courtyard of the Village center for direct-from-the-field produce and delectable treats you will need for a great week ahead! Farmers and vendors will be on hand with seasonal vegetables and berries, wine, meat, maple syrup and other maple sweet and spicy sauces. Vendors this Summer include Davis Family Maple offering maple syrup and maple candies; Benitos Hot Sauce; Valley Dream Farm and Knee Deep Farm with organic produce; Boyden Valley Winery with a selection of their award-winning wines; and The Growing Farm's selection of meats. One of our Mountain Massage Center massage professionals will again offer the ever-popular -and relaxing- chair massages!

French Gourmet Winery Experience
Mon. - Fri. 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Boyden Valley Winery invites you to join them for a French gourmet experience in Vermont! Visit their scenic family farm for a tour of the winery and tasting of their award-winning wines, served with an appetizing selection of gourmet cheeses, fresh fruits and breads. Cheese plates purchased for guests under 21 will be served with juice. Enjoy the ambience of the 1800s carriage house where the tasting bar and shop are located, or sit on the stone patio and take in the winery's beautiful gardens.

Meet at the Boyden Valley Winery; check with the Guest Service Desk for directions. $19 per person.
Cooking Classes at the Hearth & Candle

Cook alongside a professional chef and gain the skills and confidence to prepare your own culinary delights! With a maximum of six students in each class, the learning experience is intimate and hands-on. Everything you need will be provided for you, just arrive ready to cook and have some fun! At the end of the class, join the chef for lunch and enjoy your creations with a glass of wine specially chosen to complement the meal.

Ages 21 & older. 24-hour advance sign-up required. Cancellations 24 hours prior receive a full refund; no refund given for cancellations less than 24 hours. Course will be cancelled if 4 person minimum is not met. Sign up at the Guest Service Desk or Fun Finder Desk, ext. 1293.

Fresh Pasta and Sauces
Tue. 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Learn how to prepare fresh pasta dough for fettucini, raviolis, and tortellinis. You’ll also learn how to create fillings and sauces to accompany pastas. In addition to a basic dough recipe, you’ll create a basil pesto, a hearty Bolognese sauce, and ricotta ravioli filling.
$90 per person.

Rubs, Grillings, and Smoking
Wed. 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Learn how to prepare a savory rub and marinade, and proper techniques to yield a well-seasoned, flavorful and tender
meat or poultry dish. Prepare a thick and hearty barbecue sauce, a paprika-based rub well matched to pork or poultry, a marinade seasoned with rosemary, and grilled potatoes.
$90 per person.

Summer Cocktails and Liquor Infusion
Thu. 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Learn tips on setting up a home bar and planning for parties creating delicious cocktails and liquor infusion drinks perfect for the Summer season. You’ll prepare a key lime martini, infused mojito and more as you learn how to use the flavors of the season to enhance refreshing alcoholic beverages.
$60 per person.
Organic Farm to Table Dinner and Tour
Tue. 5:15 pm - 8:30 pm
An educational and delicious dining experience at Valley Dream Farm in Cambridge! This family-owned organic farm is set in a picturesque valley outlined by gently rolling hills and the breathtaking backdrop of majestic Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. Your evening begins with an informational tour hosted by the farm's owners, the Tisbert family. As you stroll around the farm, you might even get to harvest vegetables or cut flowers for the dining table!

After the farm tour, mingle with the farmers while enjoying a first course of appetizers. An outdoor covered porch decorated with fresh flowers is the setting for a dining experience like no other - the delicious meal is prepared for you by a local guest chef from one of our area's finest restaurants!

Served family style, the meal begins with an abundant salad and fresh bread. Entrees feature a choice of savory meats and an array of the the farm's seasonal certified organic vegetables and herbs, picked at their peak of freshness. Valley Dream Farm's abundant produce selection ensures that a vegetarian entree option is always available. Dinner is complemented by other savory local foods and Vermont products.

Dessert and fresh coffee from local coffee roaster Brown & Jenkins become the grand finale to this delightful farm dinner.

Families with children are welcomed. The Farm Store is open for additional purchases.

Dinner and tour - $65 per adult, $39 per children under 10.
What to wear: Dress casual/comfortable and bring a sweater or jacket for cooler evening temperatures.
What to bring: You are welcome to bring a beverage of your choosing to complement your meal. Openers and wine glasses are provided.
Driving time to the farm is 15 minutes.
Advance registration at the Guest Service Desk is required. Sign-up deadline Tuesday at 10:00 am. Directions can be obtained at the Guest Service Desk. Tours begin at 5:15 pm promptly at the farm.

Chocolate Tasting
Wed. 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

You already know how to eat chocolate – now learn how to TASTE it! Your Chocolate Adventure starts with a brief history, from the Aztecs to the modern chocolate bar, including how chocolate is made. Then, the chocolate tasting begins with a variety of milk, dark and other delectable Lake Champlain Chocolates. Come learn more about the complexities of this ancient and mysterious delicacy.

Reservations required. Located at the Morse Mountain Grille - to sign up please call extension 1244. $18 per adult, $10 per child 13 & under, when accompanied by an adult. A glass of wine is included for adults 21 & older.
