Yoga for Every Body

Accomplished yoga instructors lead you through the postures, focusing on flexibility, alignment, strength and concentration. Appropriate for all levels. Please bring a towel or blanket. $15 per person.

Exploring Meditation
Monday 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Meditation is like a vacation for the mind. This introductory class will focus on the practice of meditation with a brief discussion, gentle, preparatory yogic stretches, and a sampling of four meditation techniques: seated breath awareness, walking meditation, Tibetan singing bowls and meditative Sanskrit chanting, and vipassana (insight) meditation. Come experience for yourself the benefits meditation has to offer!$20 per person

If you’re looking to start a fitness program, “ditch the workout, and join the party!” Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program. Burn up to 600 calories in one fun and powerfully effective 60-minute total body workout led by Courtney. Every Jazzercise class combines dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching to sculpt, tone and lengthen muscles for maximum fat burn. Wild Edible & Medicinal Herb Walk

Just a few steps outside your door lies a world of wild foods and plants waiting to be discovered! Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, will guide you on this introduction to identifying common and abundant “weeds” that make some of our very best wild foods and medicines. Here in Vermont, we can find dozens of nutritious and healing plants to incorporate into our meals for at least half of the year! We will discuss parts of the plants used, when to harvest and even do some taste testing. You will go home with wild food recipes galore, and a new appreciation for the wild plants. Local eating at its best, both fresh and free! $25 per person

Do you love playing with color? Join Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, as we create natural, colorful cosmetics for you face. We will explore healthy alternative ingredients as we make our cosmic creations! We will be making: mineral eye shadow and blush, moody mascara, natural lipstick, and a facial bronzer. You will receive tons of recipes and your products to take home. Enjoy a splash of color for the summer! $35 per person.

The Art & Science of Herbal Soap Making
Thursday, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

In this hands-on class, learn how to create and make traditional, cold pressed, healthy hand made soap! Join Kelley Robie, of Horsetail Herbs, using herbs, spices, essential oils, plant based oils and other natural and nourishing ingredients to make a batch of beautiful aromatic soap. Each student will go home with a soap sample to cut and age, as well as a handout containing detailed instructions. Recipes and ideas for customizing your own soap will be given. Please bring a towel to wrap your fresh soap in. Get ready to make some suds! Ages 10 years and older.
$45 per person. Ages 10 & up. Children must be accompanied by an adult
