Notch Squad and fun activities for children and teens!

June 17 - September 5, 2016.

Choose your own day with something for everyone! Notch Squad groups will stay together throughout the day, but still have the flexibility to choose what they want to do! Campers will get the chance to pick the counselor and itinerary that most appeals to them and go from there. If the group decides to switch it up mid-day, the group will have the power to make it happen! Every day will include swimming and games.

Campers will arrive in the morning to review a menu of options for the day; Adventure & Games, Nature & Hiking, Arts & Crafts, or Sound & Stage. Our activities are all CHALLENGE BY CHOICE. This means that if at any point one of the campers does not feel comfortable with any activity, he/she can either step aside and observe, or counselors may help him/her to find a more comfortable way to be a part of the group, without doing the specific activity. Children in Notch Squad programs are grouped by ages 11-12 & 13-15 years. Youth to Counselor Ratio 1:12.

As an American Red Cross Authorized Provider, this Summer Smugglers' will once again be offering Red Cross Learn-to-Swim group lessons for ages 3-16 years.

These classes provide instruction to help swimmers develop their swimming and water safety skills. The program is designed to give students a positive learning experience. Children who have not participated in Red Cross lessons previously will be placed appropriately based on their current swimming skills.

The Learn-to-Swim program will run Monday through Friday and classes will meet in the morning to permit children to participate in Summer Fun University for the rest of the day. Children ages 3-16 years are able to participate in this program. Classes will have a 1 instructor to 6 student teaching ratio.
