Smugglers' Notch Disc Golf
Also known as Frisbee Golf, one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
June 7 - September 2, 2013.
Disc Golf, playing golf with a disc or Frisbee, provides recreation, challenge and just plain fun. Great for all ages — from 6 to 106! Combine a walk in the woods with a game the whole family can enjoy.
There are discs designed specifically for Disc Golf. There's a fairway driver disc, a mid-distance disc and a putter disc. You are welcome to bring your own flying discs. Most players prefer the discs specifically designed for this type of play.
Brewster Ridge 18 Hole Disc Golf Course
During Summer 2012 the Brewster Ridge Course was widened and lengthened to better serve all levels of players from beginner to expert. The 18-hole course encompasses about 10 acres of wooded & meadow terrain on the Resort's nature trail area, within walking distance of the Village Center. Each hole comprises three tees (beginner, intermediate and advanced), a fairway and a green, with the goal of the disc toss to land the disc in a specially designed elevated metal basket. Strolling the pathways of this beautifully designed course, with log benches placed for comfort along the way, is a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a Summer day!
An introductory nine-hole course which meanders from the Village Green up and down the Magic Learning Trail. This shorter course is specially designed for families with young children and anyone new to the sport.
Play with your own discs, or discs can be purchased at 3 Mountain Outfitters, 3 Mountain Equipment and at the Tennis & Family Fun Center for $10 each. The Brewster Ridge and Village 9 courses are open daily 9:00 am - dusk.
