Smugglers' Notch Resort's advanced geocaching takes place in Smugglers' Notch Pass
Heard about the cool sport of Geocaching? Geocaching has grown in popularity in recent years as a fun family adventure. Come check it out with the folks from Smugglers' Notch Peak Adventures.

Find the hidden treasures called geocaches both at Smugglers' Notch Resort and up in Smugglers' Notch Pass while learning about this sport. Brush up on your old-school map and compass skills and learn the new-school skills of GPS (Global Positioning System), a system of satellites, computers, and receivers that is able to determine the latitude and longitude of a receiver on Earth by calculating the time difference for signals from different satellites to reach the receiver.

We'll hunt for the geocaching "treasure" at the base of Morse Mountain in the
First Timers session and up in the Notch for the Advanced session.

First Timers: Tuesday & Friday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, $20 per person.

Advanced Geocaching: Tuesday and Friday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, $25 per person.

Meet the geocaching guide at the Gazebo in Smugglers' Village. Own transportation required. Ages 5 and older, under 18 must be accompanied by adult. Advance registration required, limited space available.
